Welcome to New York
To welcome our attendees to New York, we’ll kick off the week with a welcome party editorial at Hotel Chelsea. Designed as a warm introduction to the city, the evening will offer curated shooting opportunities while giving us all the chance to connect, mingle, and set the tone for a great week ahead.
POST SHOOT MEETING
You will have the opportunity to schedule a one on one meeting with planner, Britt Jones, in order to discuss your shoot experience and publication opportunities.
Wedding Editorial
This day will be our full-scale wedding editorial at Hotel Chelsea. Thoughtfully designed to showcase the defining moments of a wedding day, this experience will allow your gallery to fully reflect what it looks like to capture a chic, boutique-hotel wedding in New York City.
Option to Stay at Hotel Chelsea
We are working with Hotel Chelsea to offer a group rate for our attendees who'd like to stay on property over the course of the shoot. If you decide not to stay, there will be other nearby hotels recommended on your welcome packet.
Welcome to New York City! Our first day of shooting will be a curated nod to an intimate welcome party in the city. Hosted in Cave à Vin at Hotel Chelsea, we’ll lean into the space’s pre-existing charm—layering in lush textures, fresh pops of color, and creating an atmosphere that feels luxe yet inviting. Golden tones, vibrant hints of pink, and the rich contrast of dark maple and merlot will shape our color palette, creating a warm, inviting setting that feels both elevated and distinctly New York.

the inspiration:
Our full wedding editorial at Hotel Chelsea will take place in the hotel’s Bard Room—a space defined by romantic draping, intricate crown molding, and artful, moody chinoiserie walls. To complement the richness of the room’s existing tones, we’re leaning into a refined palette of pink, blue, and brown—soft yet grounded, playful yet elevated. I also drew inspiration from iridescent accents, which we plan to thoughtfully and tastefully intertwine throughout the design. These subtle reflective elements will add dimension and light, enhancing the editorial’s layered, fashion-forward feel while honoring the room’s old-world charm.

Summer in New York City is alive with bustling streets, warm sunlight filtering between buildings, and long afternoons spent in the parks. Our goal is to create a fashionable lifestyle shoot that captures what the city looks and feels like this time of year—while still delivering a high-end, portfolio-worthy result. Think effortless textures like linen, lace, silk, and cotton - set against ivy-clad brownstones, leafy park paths, and yellow city taxis. Its that understated, old-money ease the city wears so well.
